M. Belén Frades-Payo
Graduate in Psychology from the University of Salamanca and the UNED, Master in Social Gerontology (UAM), Master in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuropsychology (UCM) and Master in Speech Evaluation and Intervention (ISEP). Work experience in Clinical Psychology in several Hospitals and Psychiatric Clinics in Switzerland. Neuropsychologist in the Neurology and Geriatrics Service of the University Hospital of Getafe (Madrid), since 1995, where she has developed a wide experience in the application of numerous tests and scales for the evaluation of neurological disorders in pediatric and adult patients, as well as neurological rehabilitation programs and outreach talks in Primary Care. Collaboration in scale validation work; data collection, design, implementation and exploitation of databases; coordination and collaboration as researcher in numerous clinical trials and pharmacological research studies. Research activity in the Epidemiology Service of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III and currently in the CIEN Foundation-Reina Sofia Foundation. Participation in projects on Quality of Life, Motor Disorders, Caregiver's Burden, Parkinson's Disease, Dementias, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Disorders of the development and learning.
